Interstitial Captures

You & Me (2/23), 2020,
mixed media,
15×23 cm

This series isolates the transitional architecture of the smartphone interface. Screen captures are executed mid-scroll, arresting the structural void between digital files. These fractured digital compositions—which deliberately retain native operating system elements such as network status, ‘Edit’ prompts, and ‘Copy’ commands—are then printed directly onto torn magazine pages. This material transfer collapses the infinite depth of the screen onto the physical surface of the printed page, creating an unresolved tension within the picture plane.
